XP မွာ မသုံးေတာ့တဲ့ Driver ေတြဖယ္ရွားျခင္း

Windows XP မွာ device တစ္ခုကို install လုပ္တဲ့အခါ ကြန္ပ်ဴတာ boot လုပ္တိုင္း ဒီ driver ကို Operating System က load လုပ္ေပးပါတယ္။ ဒီ driver ကို သုံးတဲ့ device မရွိေတာ့လည္း OS က driver ကို load လုပ္ ၿပီး resource ေတြကို အလဟႆ ျဖစ္ေစတာေၾကာင့္ စက္မွာမရွိေတာ့တဲ့ device ေတြရဲ႕ driver ေတြကို ဖယ္ရွားပစ္သင့္ပါတယ္။မလိုအပ္ေတာ့တဲ့ device driver ေတြကို ဖယ္ရွားပစ္ဖို႔ ေအာက္ပါအတိုင္း လုပ္ေဆာင္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္-
My Computer ကို right click လုပ္ပါ။ အဲဒီက Properties ကို click လုပ္ပါ။ (win+pause break) System Properties dialoag box တက္လာပါမယ္။ Advance tab ကိုေရြးပါ။ Advance tab က Environment Variables button ကို ႏွိပ္ပါ။ အဲဒီက System Variable panel ေအာက္ရွိ New ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။ ေပၚလာတဲ့ New System Variable dialog box မွ Variable name မွာ devmgr-show-nonpresent-devices လို႔ ေရးထည့္ေပးပါ။ Variable Value မွာ (1) တစ္လို႔ေရးထည့္ေပးပါ။ OK ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။ System Properties dialog box ကိုျပန္ေရာက္သြားမယ္။ OK ကိုပဲဆက္ႏွိပ္ပါ။ Hardware tab ကို ေရြးပါ။ Device Manager button ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။ Device Manager မွာ View menu မွတစ္ဆင့္ Show Hidden Devices ကိုသြားပါ။ ၿပီးရင္ Device tree မွာရွိတဲ့ + ကေလးေတြကိုႏွိပ္ၿပီးျဖန္႔ထုတ္လိုက္ၿပီး မွိန္ေနတဲ့ Icon ေတြကိုရွာပါ။ မွိန္ေနတာဟာ အသုံးမျပဳေတာ့လို႔ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဲဒီ အသုံးမျပဳေတာ့တဲ့ Device ရဲ႕ Driver ကို ဖယ္ရွားခ်င္ရင္ အဲဒီ Icon ေပၚမွာ Right click လုပ္ၿပီး uninstall ကိုေရြးခ်ယ္ေပးလိုက္ပါ။
